Teen Cooking & Wellness Class

October 8 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm AEST

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Friday, repeating until 2021-12-10

Our new homeschool teen class will be starting up in term 4, will you be joining us?

Here is what to expect with our classes:

* 10 weeks of classes running for 2.5 – 3 hours

* We will have cooking, eating, discussions, activities and chats about health and wellness as a teen or pre teen

* All classes will be catered to experience level, knowledge on plant based wellness and health and also what the students would like to learn more of will be taken into account.

* Everything is plant based and gluten free (but very “normal” & tasty recipes so the kids won’t notice the difference)

* Small class size so everyone feels comfortable and I can give more personalised tuition to each student in the class.

* Most food is included except when the students have designed their own menus and will shop and do the planning from home before the class

* Some topics we will cover in class –

-eating plant based

-how our bodies digest food

-gut brain axis and ways to improve this

-skin issues and whats really happening in the body

-toxins and what they do and why

-how to naturally support our body for energy and thriving

-how to create masterpiece healthy meals

-foundations of cooking for health

-emotional health & wellness

-energy & creating harmony in our world

About me – I’m a degree qualified nutritionist and also specialise in plant based health and wellness for families (adults and children). I have a much loved passion for food and cooking and love teaching others all about the benefits of amazing foods and how they can help our bodies heal and thrive in so many ways. I also love talking about energy, our emotional body and fun science filled fun facts.

I have a blue card and first aid/cpr certificate and police clearance.

Cost will be $65 per week. This covers the 2.5-3 hours, the food and workbooks and other tools and utensils used through the 10 weeks.

The full term does need to be paid up front due to the nature of the class and the preparation and ingredients that need to be purchased.

I am happy to take a payment plan.

I have secured Fridays at 11am in Mudjimba but may be able to get another class running so let me know if you have other preferences. ?

Thanks so much and I really look forward to welcoming your child/teen aboard. These classes will be fun and super inclusive so every child will feel comfortable and welcomed.

Let me know if you have any questions. ???
